System Details & Functioning
Specifically designed and engineered in cooperation with Defence, this mechanical anchoring blast profile solution is the strongest explosion resistant film attachment solution currently available. We have achieved to reduce the dimensions to an absolute minimum to create a slim and aesthetically very pleasing profile, with a cover profile to match any window frame RAL color.
Where others require 4-sided mechanical anchoring by batten bars or gasket-style rubber & tape ‘impact profiles’, WINDOW GARD® ER-1 requires only 2-sided anchoring (!).
The special design of film anchoring and ‘loop’ sections, allows the film to absorb the blast energy to its maximum stretch (elongation), creating the strongest window film attachment method possible.
